Public Activism: Bodies are always needed to make the voice of protest louder at public protests and actions. If you've always wanted to be one of those people walking the sidewalk with a protest banner, join FOF today.
Letter Writing Campaign: People sometimes need reminders in their busy schedules that writing a letter helps. FOF needs people to help organize letter writing campaigns through mailings and special events.
Special Events Planning: Help plan FOF's benefits and public awareness meetings. Committee members locate venues, develop themes, design printed materials, give presentations, and make literature and donation materials (T-shirts, bumper stickers) available to the public.
Communications: FOF's communications people organize local phone and internet communications links to notify the public of upcoming events and increase our outreach to new communities.
Phone Tree: We need people willing to be involved in, or to organize others in a phone tree committee. This takes little time with a handfull of people. Each committe member needs only call a small group who in turn each call a small group and get important messages out to supporters.

The demand for Free Our Forests input as a public awareness educator for good government and ethical environmental policy has rapidly grown with increased pressure for communication, media exposure, benefits, and general phone and mail support. FOF needs your support to continue its work. If you are already a part of our family of supporters, we thank you for your past contributions of time, effort, and money.
Help us by giving your time and attending any of our local chapter meetings in Santa Barbara, Ojai, or Los Angeles, California, or Rogue Valley, Oregon. These chapters generally meet between 6 and 7 PM at convenient locations within those areas.
FOF has a regular e-mail list informing supporters about upcoming events and important new developments in the fight against Fee Demo. This list consists of between 2 and 8 messages per month. If you would like to be on the FOF e-mail list, e-mail zierhutm@ojai.net with "mailing list" as the subject, and "join local" or "join national" as the message. If you are in the Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, or Ventura County area, choose "join local" to get updates on local events. To be removed from the mailing list, enter "quit" as the message.

The issues listed in this website and our other literature need attention, and financial support is critical to our being able to carry on this crusade. If you would like, e-mail us your address and we will mail you a contribution envelope. Make a gift that reflects your valuation of honest government and ethical environmental legislation.
