On March 3rd in Washignton D.C., the
House Subcommittee on Interior Appropriations held closed-door hearings. It is
not known what was discussed at the meeting, but the Recreational Fee
Demonstration Program does fall under their jurisdiction. Members of Congress,
public lands agency staff, and the General Accounting Office staff were invited to
attend.
